WOOD ELVES: GLADE GUARD UNIT. YEAR: 2014.

After a looong stop for summer holidays we come back with new energies. We deserved to rest for a bit!

To begin with this new period, we are going to present just a small part of a Wood Elves order that is in our workshop these days. However, it has a peculiarity: none of the models belong to a Games Workshop Wood Elves army. In this case, we have painted a Glade Guard unit using miniatures of Mirkwood Rangers from the Hobbit.
They trully fit vey well, and painted with the appropiate scheme of colours, are a very good option to have a nice skirmishers squad in you Wood Elves army.
Anyway, the order is much more bigger, but unfortunately you will have to wait for the next posts to see the other minis.

For the moment, here we upload you the pics of this Glade Guard unit:

As you can see, taking a look of every model, they all have the same green and brown colours. But, each one has a different combination, so any of them have the same clothes.

Each base is different as well.

There are many women too.

Each model has a different pose, which gives the unit a great presence in the battefield.

We have tried to add variety by painting details in different ways (just pay attention at the hair of each one or the hoddies).

Very soon we will have something new to show you!
Until our next post!
