HIGH ELF PRINCE ON GRIFFON. YEAR: 2014

Don't stop the brushes!
Summer must go on, and we don't stop working neither!

We have wanted to paint this miniature long time ago and finally that day has come!
We are talking about a High Elf Prince on Griffon, the same that we can find at Island Blood Warhammer boxed game.

It's a beautiful miniature and we can say that has been fantastic to paint.
Do you want to see the pictures? Come on!

Overview of the Griffon. Its colours are awesome.

Painting white colors is really difficult.

Look at the Griffon, is great!

To make the base, we have used some pieces of High Elves. To make the rocks we have used some tree barks.

In this picture you can see how we have painted the Griffon wings.

Look at the Prince's face and how we have painted the helmet wings!

We'll paint until our fingers bleed!

See you guys!

TYRANIDS: HORMAGAUNT AND TERMAGANT BROOD. YEAR: 2014

As we told you in our last post about the Warhammer Fantasy Caos, this week we have been working on a small Tyrant brood. We have painted 8 Hormagaunts and 2 Termagants.

If you pay attention at them, they have a peculiar scheme of colors, adapted to combats in the jungle. It may sound to some of you because this patron is the same that appeared a few months ago in the White Dwarf 213, section "army of the month".

Most of you will have realized that bases are not decorated. This is an specific order from the customer who is a passionate fan of creating his own scenery, change and decorate his models and bases.

As we were saying, it is a curious scheme, completely different of how we use to see Tyranids. However, it fits them really good. Using brown and green, which are nearly complementery colors, creates a contrast between organic and armor elements. Let's see them closer:

TYRANID HORMAGAUNT

Hormagaunts are along with Termagants, the spine of each Tyranid Hive Fleet. They are the first creatures to be deployed over the invaded planet in order to finish with any resistance from the enemy. However, they are inept psichically speaking, and must be carried to battle by the Tyranid Warriors and supported by heavier bioforms such as Carnifex.

TYRANID TERMAGANT

Termagants change the scything talons of their forelimbs for missile bio-weapons which have a symbiothic relationship between them. These weapons are a good anti-personnel support in close combat.

Hope you like them! For our next post we will have one of the most popular models of Games Workshop these last years because it belongs to the Island Of Blood Warhammer boxed game. Which model will be?

Cheers and thanks to all our readers!

MARAUDER AND MARAUDER HORSEMEN OF CHAOS. YEAR: 2014

¡¡GRAB YOUR WEAPONS!! ¡¡NORTHMEN ARE ATTACKING!!

A Chaos Marauder incursion has arrived to our blog! From the Chaos Wastes these Chaos adorers launch their invasions toward the southern realms. They are always trying to get glory in order to be bountied by their evil Gods.

Marauders of today are very specials. They have been created and conversionated by our customer. As you can see, they are composed of Chaos Warriors bits (including 6th and 7th edition), Beastmen and Space Wolves. And we have to say that the result is great: these models are much more heavy, corpulent and agressive than the regular ones. Fantastic miniatures that already are at our customer's showcase. Do you want to check them out too?

MARAUDERS OF CHAOS

All together look amazing. Besides their dynamic and unique poses, we have tried to place them in a properly environment. A desert with dark and cold colours with some spots of snow (sometimes bloodstained) contrasts but at the same time fits perfectly with theses great models. Let's see them individually:

Check out the multiple details of each one: tattoos, wasted armors, weapons, blood stains....

Although they carry Chaos Warriors bits, bigger than regular Marauder ones, they don't break the proportions of the miniatures. On the contrary, they look stronger and more agressive.

MARAUDER HORSEMEN OF CHAOS

The most powerful Marauders of each clan can ride a horse, something considered as a right. These are the most dangerous barbarians of the North and are constantly threatening the southern realms. Here you can see a pair of them, also conversioned by our customer. You will like them for sure!

This Marauder Horsemen seems proud of his new trophy.

In our next post, something beyond our galaxy that devours entire worlds sneaks among the jungle...
