MANSIONS OF MADNESS MINIATURES. YEAR: 2013.

Today we want to totally change the kind of miniatures that we use to upload in our blog.

In this post you are about to see almost 50 models that we have painted for the tabletop game Mansions of Madness. This game it is based on the literature of H. P. Lovecraft, most know for the Cthulhu Mythos. It is a narrative game of investigation and mistery where the tabletop is a dark mansion of the America's 20. One player has the role of "Guardian" and is in charge of the story and the monsters that will appear, while the rest of the players have to explore the house in order to find out the enigma hidden in there and scape alive... sounds good, right? So imagine playing it with all these models fully painted!

We have been meticulous with the 20's background and the aura of mistery that surround the game. You can see that in both bases and clothes of the miniatures.
We have classified models in three section in order to show you all of them more easily: investigators, humanoi monsters and big monsters. We upload you first the investigators. They are simple miniatures but at the same time look very well.

Investigators

You will see that these miniatures are quite different each other. There are from detectives, gangsters, nurses, librarians and musicians to mages.

Humanoid monsters

In this section we have incluided different humanoid evil miniatures that are not investigators. Between them you will see a couple of cult leaders, some cultits, two witches, four zombies and a pair of maniacs.

Some cultists have at their bases different parts of a satanic pentagram.

Witches.

Zombies.

Maniacs.

While you are playing the game, it is quite possible you survive if you are attacked by one of the previous miniatures. However I'm sure something different would happen with the followings because they are what give the touch of mistery to the game. They are in the end the Cthulhu Mythos:

Monsters

Here you are about to see rare and phantasmagoric creatures that come from the deepest corners of the universe. If one of these catches better pray your best orison. Shoggoths, Chthonians, Byakhees, Hounds of Tindalos, Mi-gos and even Crawling Ones gather in this section.

Crawling Ones.

Byakhees.

We don't want to say you goodbye without showing you some of the bases that we have done (especialy for investigators). Most of them have been built to seem the inside of a mansion where the game is developped. You can see different carpets, wooden floors and sidewalks.

That's all for today. We hope you like this post where you have been able to see curious models completly differents of what we use to upload. In fact it is a luxe to have a collection like that and share it with your frinds. The perfect final point to introduce yourself in your character and the story of this tabletop game.

Regards from the whole Grupo Afternoon.
