ELDAR WRAITHLORD AND WINDRIDER JETBIKE SQUAD. YEAR: 2013.

About a month ago we uploaded an Eldar Fire Prism along with a pair of Vypers Jetbikes. In that post we promised you an expansion with more vehicles. After a summer full of requests, finally we can fulfill our promise with the second round of Eldar troops.
Our customer is completing his Eldar Biel-Tan Craftwolrd army with a Wraithlord and 12 Windrider Jetbikes. Not bad!

Eldar Wraithlord

The Wraithlord has been magnetized in order to exchange all its weapons depending the battle and the foe it fights. It has magnets on its shoulder platforms to place any weapon there and other magnet on its right wrist, so he can select 3 different possible hands: a fist, a hand with a Wraithsword and a hand with a trigger to place weapons on there too. Imagine the variety of armament that this Wraithlord can carry. As much as our customer desire! Here you have some pics:

Wraithlord without weapons.

A general view of it with Wraithsword. We want to highlight the work performed with airbrush all over the head and the body, along with the sword details.

Can you count how many jewels does it has?

 Rear view.

We have equipped our Wraithlord with a Scatter Laser and a Eldar Missile Launcher on its shoulders.

And now we exchange its right hand in order to place the hand with a trigger and a missile laucher on there.

We raise the bet adding a Bright Lance to the Shuriken Cannon.

And finally we just want to show you the desert base that we have painted for it.

Eldar Windrider Jetbikes.

Jetbikes are much more simple than the Wraithlord, but they are anyway very showy miniatures. Four of them have the Shuriken Cannon upgrade pack. Do not miss the flags we have made for them!

Check out they have freehands of black thorns and jewels all over the hull.

Do you like the flags we made for them?

We hope you like it! Step by step our customer is getting a nice Eldar army. Soon we will be back with more stuff.
Thanks to all of you and see you next time!

MANSIONS OF MADNESS MINIATURES. YEAR: 2013.

Today we want to totally change the kind of miniatures that we use to upload in our blog.

In this post you are about to see almost 50 models that we have painted for the tabletop game Mansions of Madness. This game it is based on the literature of H. P. Lovecraft, most know for the Cthulhu Mythos. It is a narrative game of investigation and mistery where the tabletop is a dark mansion of the America's 20. One player has the role of "Guardian" and is in charge of the story and the monsters that will appear, while the rest of the players have to explore the house in order to find out the enigma hidden in there and scape alive... sounds good, right? So imagine playing it with all these models fully painted!

We have been meticulous with the 20's background and the aura of mistery that surround the game. You can see that in both bases and clothes of the miniatures.
We have classified models in three section in order to show you all of them more easily: investigators, humanoi monsters and big monsters. We upload you first the investigators. They are simple miniatures but at the same time look very well.

Investigators

You will see that these miniatures are quite different each other. There are from detectives, gangsters, nurses, librarians and musicians to mages.

Humanoid monsters

In this section we have incluided different humanoid evil miniatures that are not investigators. Between them you will see a couple of cult leaders, some cultits, two witches, four zombies and a pair of maniacs.

Cultists.

Some cultists have at their bases different parts of a satanic pentagram.

Witches.

Zombies.

Maniacs.

While you are playing the game, it is quite possible you survive if you are attacked by one of the previous miniatures. However I'm sure something different would happen with the followings because they are what give the touch of mistery to the game. They are in the end the Cthulhu Mythos:

Monsters

Here you are about to see rare and phantasmagoric creatures that come from the deepest corners of the universe. If one of these catches better pray your best orison. Shoggoths, Chthonians, Byakhees, Hounds of Tindalos, Mi-gos and even Crawling Ones gather in this section.

Check out the details of the base and the slime all over its body.

Hounds of Tindalos.

Crawling Ones.

Byakhees.

We don't want to say you goodbye without showing you some of the bases that we have done (especialy for investigators). Most of them have been built to seem the inside of a mansion where the game is developped. You can see different carpets, wooden floors and sidewalks.

Another elaborated carpet.

That's all for today. We hope you like this post where you have been able to see curious models completly differents of what we use to upload. In fact it is a luxe to have a collection like that and share it with your frinds. The perfect final point to introduce yourself in your character and the story of this tabletop game.

Regards from the whole Grupo Afternoon.

KNIGHT MODELS, BATMAN ARKHAM CITY: JOKER CREW (JOKER, CONTRA-AUGUSTE, CLOWN & RINGMASTER. YEAR: 2013

Hi everybody and welcome back to Arkham City. One of the deadliest band of this city has burst into our workshop in order to be painted.

Here you see the first work that Alberto Luño, one of our new painters, has completed totally by himself: the Joker Crew. As you can imagine it is a continuation about our large request of Knight Models: Batman Arkham City miniatures. Do you like it?

The whole Joker Crew ready.

JOKER

If you enlarge the photo, you will see that Joker's face has plenty details.

Great job painting the Joker's suit.

CLOWN

Check out Clown's face, hair and how Alberto has painted the T-shirt.

RINGMASTER

Ringmaster's chest-pads has been painted with NMM technique.

CONTRA-AUGUSTE

Blood spatter in baseball bat is quite well performed...as much as the face!

By the way, did you pay attention at their bases?
For the moment we stop here but do not miss our next post. We promise you that it will be one of the most interesting of our blog.

'Till next time!
